flashes of sunlight penetrate my eyelids
.closed.

music from car stereos parading past my window…an old beat
.heart.

If I shut them tight enough, and listen hard enough, time will rewind and bypass the loss
.regrets.

this is what it feels like to be in love with the past…its all wrong…right?

anxious anticipation for a mutual agreement…for the best love
.choosing.
