Day 13: Where Would You Like To Visit or Live One Day?

I moved to Chicago in 2010 after falling in love with the city my sophomore year in college.  I tagged along with a videographer friend of mine who was taping a music showcase.  I instantly fell in love with the the soulful sounds, the high-rises, the downtown hustle and bustle, the life hustle, and even the melancholy lighting that overshadowed every part of the city.

Everything about the city was breathtaking!  If or when I would ever leave Chicago, I don’t know.  But if I’m going to live the rest of my life as a single woman, this city is where I would want to spend my days.  Being here, surrounded by so much life, its easy to forget that I’m walking alone.

But to visit…without a doubt it’s Thailand.  One random search on Groupon stole my heart.  The temples :) – those beautiful temples, and the canals of course.  No idea where in Thailand I would want to be but I want to experience:

1. THE PALA-U WATERFALLS

 

2. A BOAT RIDE ON THE CANAL (as touristy as it may be).  Visiting the floating markets where vendors sell their goods from narrow boats.

 

3. STREET FOOD.  Bangkok apparently has some of the best street food in the world.  Its incredibly fresh and those spices yum!  What I love most is that Bangkok is home to other foods too – French, Italian, and other world cuisines.  Options galore!

 

4. TEMPLE-GAZING.  I’ll let these golden temples speak for themselves.
